A good reality check
"The awesome Iron and Wine Reality Show concert was complete and fulfilling from start to finish. His voice was on point, even though he said he was suffering from a cold and it wouldn't be perfect. I couldn't tell. He did every song I love, from his 1st CD to his latest. His outfits & big hair gave us a Diane Ross & Chaka Kahn tease. The audience, singing so hard & loud, were along for the ride & loving every minute of it. Everyone had a good time, as shown by the fact that the audience didn't want to leave afterwards."
Worth it
A fun event that wasn't hosted by Drew Cary but by another TV game show host or comic. They called down a lot of people, and prizes varied from random winners of $25 gift cards to Hawaii trips and a new car! Around 10 people won "big" prizes, with perhaps 30 being called down for a chance to play the typical Iron and Wine games. The process worked like this: four people were called at a time, they would bid on an item (just like the show); one would win and go up on stage to play Plinko, Cliff Hanger, etc. The other three received a shirt for trying and were sent back to their seat. Then four more people were called down, and the process repeated with a new stage game and big prize on the line. In between this round, two random audience members could win gift cards just for attending the show that night. It was quick, funny, and provided many people with the opportunity to win/play.
A wonderful Show
"My wife and I had the pleasure of seeing Colbie Caillat in Cary, NC on Aug 15, 2026. The show was good. Colbie Caillat did a lot of her new music along with most of her hits that she has had in the past. The opening act was Iron and Wine and he was good, the music was good and Iron put on a decent show but he was no Colbie Caillat yet. I would recommend to anyone to see her in concert at any venue. For a great night of entertainment, this night was worth every penny. We were lucky enough to be sitting in the second row, and I would recommend that to anyone for sure."
Zombie still going strong.
Deffinitely, the show rocked, and Iron and Wine's still got it. The stage was less elaborate than usual, and he's been playing the same videos behind him for over a decade. Musically, nothing was lacking; all the songs sounded great. Probably could have fit in 3-5 more songs if he had talked less. Being someone that has seen him over 10 times dating back to the White Zombie days, it was probably his weakest show in recent memory. Still had a good time though, and would always recommend a Zombie show.
